1. Preparation
Our highly skilled technicians evaluate the floor for moisture content, damage, and density. We then mechanically grind all surfaces with a diamond grinder to the ideal profile recommended by the ICRI (International Concrete Repair Institute). Next, any cracks, pitting, and imperfections are repaired. A moisture mitigation or other primer is applied as well, if the conditions indicate it’s needed.3. Coating Applications
A high-build, 100% solids, BPA-free industrial-grade polymer is then applied as a base coat. Next, depending on the type of coating you have selected, either a second solid color, high-build coat can be applied, or vinyl flake or quartz sand is broadcast onto the surface. Additionally, urethane cement is applied when the floor will require chemical resistance, high temperature performance, or more extensive substrate reinforcement.4. Detailing and Top Coating
Finally, the floor is sanded, and a protective and durable high-performance polyaspartic top coat is applied to prevent fading, cracking, or peeling. We also add aggregate to the topcoat during this final step to create better traction and a non-slip surface.
